My mum dragged me for a facial again today. Ya.. Not exactly something a guy would do, but she insisted on cleaning my face before I entered the army. I mean, what's the point? I still have to paint my face with those green paint next year and have all those pimples popping out again. Anyway, what's beauty to a guy? *shivers* Sounds gay to me. Anyway, facial is very painful, especially when you have so many of those white heads and pimples on the eve of your visit to the beautician. It's worse than seeing a dentist.
We went to visit my grand-uncle next. He never fails to take a bus from sengkang to changi every year on my birthday, to give me my birthday presents. He is a great man. Today when I saw him, I tried to picture him in his younger days. I could not find a bad point about him. Simple, honest, sincere man. Not easy to find this type of man these days. No wonder his wife and him are still so loving. I really hope there will be some day when I can bring him out and treat him to a good dinner. That's the least I can do to repay his love and kindness he has shown me.
Today is Sunday. I hope to finish my chemistry by this friday, which means I have 5 days left. Quite a herculean task, but nothing is impossible unless I set my mind to it... which is kind of difficult.
