I've been trying to fix my blog and get my posts back recently. Oh.. In case you don't know, all my entries disappeared while I was trying to change my template. Haha! I just realised hoe ignorant I am about computers.

Anyway, today was my GP paper. Paper2 was all right. I can't say the same for Paper1. The topic was "How inventions and discoveries are used is not the concern of scientists. Do you agree?" Well, I did not. And I wrote about responsibility, knowledge and the far-reaching effects. I can't be bothered to elaborate. I have this feeling that I have the wrong points, or I did not write enough. Ususally, my essays have some kind of clear sub-headings, but this one didn't. I'm sure the highest mark I can get is just 25. I still have confidence of getting at least a B grade though. It's good enough for me as I aspire to be a lawyer no more.

After the exam, Juehai mentioned that we wouldn't have to write GP essays anymore. It made me start to think. I wondered if the thesis we have to write in university is compaprable to GP. I also wonder if the work in university requires one to write in the essay format. One thing I'm sure about is this will not be the last time I have to slog and produce an essay. Maybe not in the next couple of years.

Tonight is the first episode of "Romance of the Three Kingdoms". Ok, I know. You must be wondering why in the world would I be watching such a show. Well, I like the the different stories about human nature: Righteousness, courage etc. More importantly, I enjoy the military tactics and ingenuity of olden day tacticians where weapons of mass destruction were unavailable. In those wars, brains are the deciding factor, not how big your spear is. However, I wonder if these stories are true. It's too good and clever to be true.
