It was a long chalet. 27- 30 Dec. My aunt booked one from 27-29 and Boon Wee booked one from to 28-30. So we had 2 chalets for most of the period. Coincidentally, they were just a level from one another. Only the guys occupied them for all but 1 day. Well, the poor girls had to work. If I were to be enlisted in April, I would only choose to work after the Dec holidays. what's the hurry? Anyway, we had fun playing mahjong, daidee, poker(not strip), ps2 and x-box. It is surprising the management installed a x-box in the room. Downtown has changed significantly too. The last day was bbq day and the day I lost my Singapore Pools bet because of an injury-time Myanmar goal. Heck! It was extremely squeezy in the room once all of us evacuated from the bbq pit. There was a tv group, mahjong group, cards group and slacker group. I almost died from lack of oxygen. My last moments in the chalet was playing x-box. Fun but too bad it ended quickly. Oh yah, forgot to mention about a close brush with death. Shi hong decided to walk under the carpark entrance barrier one fine day and was almost knocked on the head. Whew! But what's life without excitement?

Enlistment day is approaching fast. I dread the fact that I would be cut off from the outside world soon. It wouldn't be that bad if I get to go home every day. But it's like going to a prison camp for me. I hate this feeling of uncertainty. Just like going to a new school, taking back results or going for an exam. And I'm going to experience this feeling twice in 3 months. My only hope is that I will make great friends in camp. Once it's done, 2 years will pass very quickly, very quickly indeed.

Happy new year to all. 2005 will be a great year for all of us. It's another step closer to fufilling our dreams!
