I don't have a habit of listening to the lyrics of songs. The only thing which attracts me is the melody of the songs. That is why I love instrumentals. But some songs have very meaningful lyrics, or should I say, touching lyrics. The one above perhaps? It adds to the melody of the song. It brings a song to life. It creates a story and setting for the song. All of the classical melodies also have a theme and story behind them. Perhaps this is what music is all about, and I have failed to realise it until now. I will pay more attention to the lyrics of songs in future. That is a promise.
