Driving Lesson 4

Driving IS tiring. I haven't been exercising. I don't know if they are linked. I went on the public roads for the first time. I wasn't ready for it. The changing down of the gear still eludes me. Traffic rules are still a blur. However, I feel myself improving with each lesson. Hopefully, come end week, I would be confident enough to engage anything on the roads. I was so engrossed in driving that I didn't know where I was going. The sudden appearance of Bedok Resovoir surprised me a litle. Oh my gosh, I am driving! Not round and round like the circuit. I actually visited places! Ok, so how did I get here?

I love driving outside, but I fear for the safety of others. I hit 90km/h today without realising it. I almost ran over pedestrians because I did not see them crossing while I was turning. I almost hit a staionary truck. I turned into a wrong lane. Not a bad day. I might have to put a siren on my vehicle next time. Warning! Danger approaching.

Aloy and I treated the whole gang of our NS course-mates today. Pity we wouldn't be staying together anymore. So I made it a point to fix a date to meet up every year. These friends are for life. I'm too tired to upload photos today. Luckily Freddie sent me home. Well, the joy of having a license.
