My foot

Camp was great. But it still wasn't what I had in mind. I could have much more fun. Probably I enjoy organising things much more than being in the thick of things. We were constantly blindfolded and wet. Typical camp stuff. However there was this big big scam. It is perhaps the biggest scam I have experienced. It was so well acted out that I am still stunned. We should have a double in Law and theatre studies. And that's why they say lawyers can't be trusted. No spoilers though. Looking at the seniors, I forsee a great deal of fun ahead and of course, hard work.

On a separate note, people in law school are really different from the people I've met over the course of my education so far. It is quite a significant difference I must say. It's neither bad nor good. It is like entering a whole new world. No more super lame jokes, no more crazy chinese singing in class and no more sick 'gaying' around. Oh man. I hope everyone's just putting a false front so far. Like me.

Here comes the more important part. Most memorable one too, other than that big ACT. I twisted my foot while playing captain's ball. I actually stayed on after that bad fall. I went home later at night after I discovered I couldn't walk anymore. Today, I had a really tough time trying to adjust to a one-legged life. It was quite funny, albeit inconvenient. Doc confirmed it as 2 small fractures in my foot. Now my foot is all wrapped up and if an insect decided to be funny and crawl into it, I'm in for a torrid time. Instead of a nice sunny relaxed and shopping holiday next week, I'm destined to spend it in the confines of my room. How sad.
