The Wait

Slow and steady wins the race. It is worth waiting for something, which you know you will cherish very much when you get it. Waiting for your dream car, your dream watch, your dream house. All are worth waiting for.

But what if you know the thing you are waiting for will never arrive? Only the silly will continue waiting, hoping for a miracle.

And what if you are waiting for something that MIGHT just arrive. The first decision is easy. Either you wait until something else catches your attention, or you wait for a maximum period of time before moving on. The second decision is more difficult. Assuming you stay loyal throughout, and now is the time to detach yourself from it. On the bright side, because you haven't held it in your hands yet, there are no strong emotions involved. However, it doesn't make this easy, it makes this a little easier that's all. The only way to close this chapter is to get convinced. What better way is there?

I have always wanted to go back to what I've been before. But I'm not getting younger. I might not be able to take it.

Sushi after I'm on both feet again. Thanks.
