The long road....

Before time began, I wondered why people 'read' law in university. Now I understand. It literally means what it says. Nah... It can't be that boring. After all, we mostly read cases; interesting stories of disputes. It is not boring, except for the fact that it comes in the form of a more profound version of english. Somehow, the reporters, writers or judges like to show off their complicated yet impeccable command of english. We learn how to write in a direct and simple way in legal writing class. Apparently, it is not applied in the real world. There was one night I almost pulled my hair out trying to figure what the hell this guy wrote. Luckily, that was an isolated incident. In short, law school is heaven. Lawyers lie, lawyers-to-be do that too.

I started on my second stage of my looong road to recovery. I played netball yesterday! My foot held itself together. Not bad. Although it hurt a little, I guess it is just underworked still. My next aim is to resume tennis. Perspiring while exercising is such an ecstatic feeling. Perspiring while walking under the hot sun is unbearable.

I am so looking forward to recess week. Have to stop thinking of how to sue people for a week.
