the wonders

I always thought the law was thus and thus. If you did this, there is no escape for you. You know the stuff we learnt as kids? The long arms of law. Or sky net grey grey, but got no gap (literal translation from a chinese saying). The main idea of these brain-washing teachings are meant to tell us that you cannot escape from the law.

But I found out this might not be true. I am doing this module where we help our client in a particular scenario win her case. In the process, I believed that she had a very high chance. We switched roles with another clas recently. Now I am fighting against my former client. And now I feel that my former client's case is not that strong after all.

The message in the gibberish above is that there rarely is black and white in law. Most of the time, it is grey. Now that is why good lawyers are highly valued. They make a whole lot of a difference.

Standing between me and my well-deserved week's break is something horrible. It is called a memorial. Once I am done with it, all hell will break loose.
