A day's work

As with all mornings, I drove to school. As with all Fridays, lesson ends before noon. But it is a lot more different today.

The morning started a little more hectic. Since I had my aunt's car for today, I woke up later than usual and took my own sweet time. But traffic was slow when I was going to pick up my friends. In the end, I had to drive a teeny weeny bit faster than usual. Lesson was as per normal. Sleepy, dreamy and always staring at the clock and wondering how I can make that minute hand move faster.

After class, I drove over to Kent Ridge to explore the potential staging sites for law camp. Unsurprisingly, my committee is made up of the opposite sex. It was a very hot day and it is impossible to explore without a car. To be honest, Kent Ridge does have several abandoned houses perfect for our use. Oh my, I am very pleased with the day's work.

After an afternoon of law camp work, I drove us to Raffles' City to do some window shopping. Shopping again! As if yesterday's adventure at Isetan wasn't enough. By the way, it was a fruitful shopping trip yesterday. I bought so many pieces of clothing recently that I realised I lost track of what I really need. And I think shopping alone is no fun. There is no one to turn to for opinion and no one to talk to. Shopping with girls would bore them to tears. Shopping with guys is quite...impossible and... gay? So what do I do? Also, there is so few things to choose from. Variety is almost non-existent. When I look at the endless rows of ladies' clothings, I get a picture of why shopping is so much fun to them. Because of clothes, I have to eat grass from now on. I don't have a choice. I can't go out naked.

After window shopping, we went to the Supreme Court for a debate. It was a funny debate rather than a serious one. Funny is an understatement though. I haven't laughed so hard for a long time. Hey! I didn't know the Supreme Court shifted to its new premises already. Yes, I'm a frog in my own well. It's external appearance isn't really impressive. I think the spaceship on top is hilarious. The interior is very sophisticated but there is a very distinct lack of life. This is the best description I can come up with. Well, we don't need a life. We don't have time for one. I guess that's the message it is trying to portray. The main point of that event was the food. It was reeeeallly good. Besides the lack of tables and chairs, the quality was fantastic! And we didn't even have to pay. Brilliant.

Amazing view. If my office next time doesn't have this view, I will just paste this photo on my wall.

An artistic dark photograph. Actually, I forgot to switch the mode. But it's not the face that matters. It's the brotherly love.
