Never Stop Dreaming

Today is 16/3. In 7 weeks, I would have officially completed 1 year of school. That's very fast. And part of the reason is that when u get buried in books, time whizzes past. In a blink of an eye, the weekend is gone. Why? Buried in work.

It is exciting to think about completing a year of school. People say school is fun, work is terrible. But I think the fun is different in both contexts. School fun is hanging out with friends, playing pranks, fooling around and talking nonsense all day long. Work fun is mature fun, fun which you wouldn't be able to afford when studying. Fun like dining in restaurants, going on expensive holidays, engaging in expensive activities. Generally, it's the feeling of greater spending power.

In some way, I think mature fun is more appealing. True, money is not everything. But having money certainly opens up more options to spice up life. It would be exciting to do things or buy things that I couldn't afford before. Of course, work is horrible. But that is a reasonable price to pay.
